The company is led by a director with a police background and close-protection credentials; the team is drawn from police veterans and Class 1 licensed guards.

The clients are centre and facility managers responsible for retail centres, often more than one; building managers responsible for commercial towers; builders responsible for sites after hours; and private principals and executives who need protection planned properly. What they have in common is that they cannot afford a failure and need to be able to prove what is in place.

Our guards do more than call the police.

The typical static guard watches a problem and phones the police. Ours approach, engage and resolve what is in front of them under the site's policy and Queensland law, and they write down what they did.

    Our own reporting app. Officers log on at the post, check-ins are timestamped, incidents are entered as they happen with photographs, and the report reaches you in one format for every site.

    Radios and earpieces on every post, so an officer, the supervisor and a patrol vehicle are one call apart and nothing waits for a phone to be answered.

    Cameras

    Body-worn cameras and recording eyewear where you ask for them and the site's signage and privacy obligations allow. Footage is handled under a written procedure.

Cover runs from the Brisbane CBD, Fortitude Valley and Newstead through the Eagle Farm and airport precinct to the northside and southside, and on the Gold Coast from Southport and Surfers Paradise to Broadbeach, Robina, Burleigh Heads and Coolangatta, and on the Sunshine Coast from Caloundra through Maroochydore to Noosa. Rosters are built by precinct, so officers are local to the sites they hold and a client with premises in more than one region gets one supervisor chain and one report.

    Site walk and written orders

    We walk the site with you, then write the orders: posts, patterns, escalation contacts, your policies. Nothing starts until they are agreed.

  2. 02

    A fixed team, briefed before the first shift

    Officers are inducted on site and briefed on the orders. They stay on the site for as long as the roster allows.

  3. 03

    Presence and resolution

    Officers hold the post, walk the pattern, approach what needs approaching and resolve it. Police are called when the situation requires it, not as the first step.

  4. 04

    A record you receive

    Every incident is logged at the time and the report comes to you on the schedule you choose, in the same format for every site.

  5. 05

    Supervision you can reach

    A supervisor visits posts unannounced, reads the log against the orders and is your point of contact. One operation, no call centre.
