Monitoring is offered as a complement to the sites we guard and patrol rather than as a stand-alone alarm subscription: cameras are watched by licensed operators at the hours that matter, and what they see is acted on by an officer on the ground.

The service has three parts: designing what the cameras should cover, watching the feeds live at set hours, and escalating to a patrol vehicle or a static guard when something needs a person present.

    Coverage design

    A walk of the site to decide what the cameras should see: entries, docks, car-park ramps, cash points, plant rooms. We advise on gaps in an existing system before anyone starts watching it.

  2. 02

    Live monitoring at set hours

    Licensed operators watching the feeds during the hours agreed with you: after close, overnight, over a shutdown or at a known risk window. Not a recording nobody looks at.

  3. 03

    Escalation to a patrol

    When an operator sees something, a mobile patrol attends. The operator stays on the feed and talks the officer onto the location.

  4. 04

    Escalation to a guard on site

    On guarded sites, the operator and the officer on post work together: the camera sees the wider picture, the officer resolves it, and the log records both.

  5. 05

    Incident recording and export

    Events are logged with time, camera, observation and action, and the footage is exported and held under a written procedure for the client, the insurer or the police.

  6. 06

    Reports

    A monitoring log for the period in the same format as our guarding and patrol reports, so a client reading all three sees one picture of the site.

Monitoring is licensed work in Queensland: operators watching a client's cameras hold a Class 1 licence with the appropriate function, and footage is handled under the Privacy Act and the client's own signage and policy.

What sets the price

How much does CCTV monitoring cost

Monitoring is priced by the hours watched and the number of camera feeds, with escalation attendance priced per visit as it is for patrols. The factors below set the number, and we quote in writing after seeing the system.

Get a written quote

Send the site, the hours you want watched and a description of the existing cameras through the quote form. If the system needs work first, we will say so.

  • Hours monitored

    Overnight only, after-close to open-up, weekends, or a shutdown period. More hours, more operator time.

  • Number of feeds

    A handful of cameras on one site and a portfolio of sites on one screen wall are different workloads.

  • Escalation

    Patrol attendance is priced per visit, or included on sites already on a patrol run.

  • System condition

    Existing cameras with remote access cost less to bring on than a system that needs work first. We advise before quoting.

  • Reporting

    Standard monitoring logs are included. Footage export and bespoke reports are scoped and quoted.

  • Bundled with guarding or patrols

    Monitoring added to a site we already guard or patrol shares supervision and reporting, which lowers the figure.

Frequently asked questions

Do you monitor cameras 24 hours a day?

Monitoring is delivered for the hours agreed with you, which for most sites means after close and overnight, over weekends, or through a shutdown. Continuous monitoring can be quoted; whether it is worth it depends on the site's trading pattern and what happens during the day.

Can you monitor our existing cameras?

Usually, yes, if the system supports remote access at adequate quality. We inspect it first and tell you if anything needs to change before monitoring is worth paying for. We do not sell camera hardware.

What happens when the operator sees something?

The operator escalates under the protocol agreed with you: a patrol vehicle attends, or the officer on site is directed to the location, and police are called where warranted. The operator stays on the feed, and the event is logged with time, camera, observation and action.

Is CCTV monitoring licensed work in Queensland?

Yes. Operators monitoring a client's cameras hold a Class 1 licence with the appropriate function under the Security Providers Act 1993, and the company holds a firm licence. Details are in the proposal and can be checked on the OFT public register.

Do you offer monitoring without guarding or patrols?
